Dr Mohammad Al-Azawi

About and Bio

Mohammad Al-Azawi is Associate Professor in AI and Computer Vision, he served as Assistant Dean for Academic Affairs at Oman College of Management & Technology (OCMT).  He received his MPhil and PhD in Computational Intelligence from De Montfort University, Leicester, UK. He obtained his BSc. and MSc. in Computer Engineering from Mustansiriyah and Baghdad Universities, Iraq respectively.  Prior to his promotion as Asst. Dean, Al-Azawi worked as the Head of the Department of Computer Science and Management Information Systems and the chair of Quality Assurance Committee at OCMT. He has over 20 years of teaching experience at various reputed universities and colleges in Iraq, Jordan and Oman.  He has published around 20 papers in leading journals and conference proceedings. Also, he has participated in many international conferences as a keynote speaker.
