In a step reflecting her unwavering support for the quality of higher education in the Sultanate, Her Excellency Professor Rahma bint Ibrahim Al-Mahrouqi, the Minister of Higher Education, Research, and Innovation, held an important meeting with the President and members of the Board of Directors of the Omani Association for Quality in Higher Education.
Her Excellency received the mentioned delegation today, February 25, 2024, at the ministry headquarters, where several topics related to the association's work and its collaboration with the ministry in supporting higher education institutions in the field of educational quality were discussed. Her Excellency expressed her appreciation for the efforts made by the association in achieving its goals in this field.
During the meeting, Her Excellency's directives were also heard for the purpose of benefiting from them in shaping the future plans of the association.
It is worth noting the importance of this meeting in enhancing cooperation between relevant entities to enhance the quality of higher education in the Sultanate and achieve Oman vision 2040 in building an advanced and innovative knowledge society.
Also present at the meeting was Dr. Mariam Al-Nabhani, the Director General of the Directorate General of Private Universities and Colleges at the ministry.
